There is a tunnel under the road at the edge of our property. We have written about it before, and we will write about it again, because it is one of the few genuinely unusual things in this entire market.
Here is where it goes.
The route
Out of your suite, across our lot, down through the tunnel, then east through the neighborhood on the other side. That neighborhood is the old back nine. Keep going and you are at Fox Hollow Golf Club.
The whole trip happens in a golf cart. At no point do you cross a road with traffic on it. That is what the tunnel is for, and it is why a cart works here and would not work anywhere else.
What is over there now
Fox Hollow just came through a renovation. New restaurant, and a lot more besides. It is a real course with a real clubhouse, not a nine-hole afterthought, and it is effectively at the same address as we are.
Put that next to the suites and the math gets strange in a good way. Work on the truck in the morning. Cart over, play, eat. Cart back. Nobody moved a vehicle off the property all day.
A note on what we own
To be clear, we do not own the golf course and we are not selling you a membership to it. What we are telling you is where we chose to put the building, and how you get from one to the other without touching a public road.
