Car Condos in Minnesota
A car condo is a garage you own, built for the cars you would never leave in a driveway. At The Hide Out Supermax Suites it is also a place you want to spend the afternoon.
Each suite is deeded real estate inside a real commercial building of masonry and structural steel, with private gated entry and a concrete mezzanine included. Bring the collection, close the door, and stay a while.
Stack Them Up
Most suites have twenty-five feet of clear height. In one of the smaller suites, three trucks sit stacked on a single lift right now. Fourteen-foot overhead doors take lifted trucks, trailers and the occasional project that is taller than planned.
Warm in January, Quiet All Year
Natural gas radiant in-floor heat is included, so the cars sit in steady warmth through a Minnesota winter. Reinforced concrete block between suites keeps the neighbor’s noise on the neighbor’s side, and noncombustible construction means the walls themselves do not burn.
Built for Drivers
The drive aisles were laid out for people who tow. A full-size truck and trailer can make a U-turn between the buildings, so backing in never means a ten-point turn. There are no gutters or downspouts to clip, and owners have access around the clock.
More Than Parking
The mezzanine is where a car condo turns into a clubhouse: a lounge over the collection, a bar, a theater, an office. The concrete floor and underground plumbing go in after you buy, so a bathroom or wet bar can go upstairs and leave the ground floor for cars.
Owned, Not Borrowed
Every suite is deeded. Build it out to your plan, keep it as long as you like, and know exactly who has a key. Each suite has its own separately metered utilities and a fiber line.
People Who Speak Your Language
Cruise-ins, whiskey nights and open houses through the year bring car people together on site. Owners also have an indoor pickleball court of their own and a golf cart route to the golf course through a tunnel under the road.
Photos only go so far. The fastest way to know whether a suite fits is to stand in one. Tours are by appointment: call (855) 843-4433 or get in touch.
