Photo and Video Studio Space in Minnesota

Most studios start in a rented room that is never quite tall enough, wide enough or available when the client is.

A suite at The Hide Out Supermax Suites is a studio you own, in a building of masonry and structural steel, with a door big enough to roll a car or a truck straight onto the set.

Height for the Lights

Most suites have twenty-five feet of clear height, room to rig lighting high and shoot wide. The block walls and concrete floor take paint, cyc walls and whatever the set calls for.

Drive the Subject In

Fourteen-foot overhead doors mean cars, trucks, motorcycles and boats come in under their own power. Natural gas radiant in-floor heat keeps the set comfortable in January.

Edit Upstairs

The concrete mezzanine, included with every suite, makes an edit bay, a client lounge or wardrobe and makeup, with a view down onto the floor. A fiber line comes to every suite for moving big files.

Employees Welcome, Clients by Appointment

This is a commercial building. A business can own a suite and run out of it, and your people can work there every day. Clients come by appointment rather than walking in off the street, because the one thing a suite here is not built for is a retail storefront.

Financing

Owner-occupied commercial real estate qualifies for SBA financing, which typically means a lower down payment than a conventional commercial loan. Ask your own lender what it looks like for your business, and see how to buy a garage condo.

Who It Suits

Automotive and product photographers, video production companies, content creators and anyone who books every client ahead of time.

Photos only go so far. The fastest way to know whether a suite fits is to stand in one. Tours are by appointment: call (855) 843-4433 or get in touch.
